Alice

Carrying on from the Alice in Wonderland theme started yesterday with "Clarity" I've gone with "Alice" which was the title track for the recently released movie of "Alice in Wonderland".

I think most would agree that Lewis Carol was on some pretty strong stuff when putting this story together. Only for Alice to awaken at the end of it all... but then again is a new start or even a new slant on everything an awakening of sorts?

I think that Avril Lavigne does a great job on this one. Much like clarity, once you fall in to a world of wonder and chaos, I think we finally find an inner strength and clarity that may not have been evident before hand. After all is said and done, don't we stand tallest and strongest when it's most difficult to do so?

Trippin' out
Spinnin' around
I'm underground
I fell down
Yeah, I fell down

I'm freakin' out
Where am I now?
Upside down
And I can't stop it now
It can't stop me now
ooooooh

I... I'll get by
I... I'll Survive
When the world's crashin' down
When I Fall and hit the ground
I will turn myself around
Don't you try to stop me
I... I won't cry

I'll play the game
But I can't stay
I've got my head on straight
And I'm not gonna change
I'm not gonna change

I'll win the race
Keep up with the pace
Today's the day
That I start to pray
You can't get in my way
Nooooooooo

I... I'll get by
I... I'll Survive
When the world's crashin' down
When I Fall and hit the ground
I will turn myself around
Don't you try to stop me
I... I won't cry

I found myself (myself)
In Wonderland
Get back on (back on)
My feet again
Is this real? (this real)
Is this pretend?
I'll Take a stand (a stand)
Until the end

I... I'll get by
I... I'll Survive
When the world's crashin' down
When I Fall and hit the ground
I will turn myself around
Don't you try to stop me
I... I won't cry

I... I'll get by
I... I'll Survive
When the world's crashin' down
When I Fall and hit the ground
I will turn myself around
Don't you try to stop me
I... I won't cry

No matter how far the fall, it's always a chance to turn it around.
