Ring of Fire

Another more classic rock track today. Johnny Cash is a legend on so many fronts and today's song has been covered many times across a heck of a lot of genres.

"Ring of Fire" quite obviously referring to love and the combustible nature that at times seems to consume it. Be it the fire that warms or one that burns it's got to be fed. As with so many things, it's not what you have or why but how you put it to use. The fire that burns within should be there to offer warmth and light when we need it... but the other side of that coin is that it could also be used to strike out and cause harm.

Love Is A Burning Thing
And It Makes A Fiery Ring
Bound By Wild Desire
I Fell Into A Ring Of Fire

I Fell Into A Burning Ring Of Fire
I Went Down, Down, Down
And The Flames Went Higher

And It Burns, Burns, Burns
The Ring Of Fire
The Ring Of Fire

The Taste Of Love Is Sweet
When Hearts Like Ours Meet
I Fell For You Like A Child
Oh,But The Fire Went Wild

I Fell Into A Burning Ring Of Fire
I Went Down, Down, Down
And The Flames Went Higher
And It Burns, Burns, Burns
The Ring Of Fire
The Ring Of Fire

Love Is A Burning Thing
And It Makes A Fiery Ring
Bound By Wild Desire
I Fell Into A Ring Of Fire

I Fell Into A Burning Ring Of Fire
I Went Down(down), Down(down), Down(down)
And The Flames Went Higher Higher Higher

I Fell Into A Burning Ring Of Fire
I Went Down(down), Down(down), Down(down)
And The Flames Went Higher Higher Higher

And It Burns
OoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooYaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

For good or bad, love burns. Might as well get out the marshmallows and enjoy some sweetness too.
