Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair

Today's tune is a strange one in that it goes on to list a whole load of rather stupid things to do, then simply points out that you should be careful that someone's moved your chair.

I think the Arctic Monkeys get it on the mark in that danger isn't always where we see it to be. Sometimes, it's the simpler things, or is that trusted things that can be far more dangerous to us.

"Don't Sit Down 'Cause I Moved Your Chair" plays on the fact that we often assume things are the way we left them. That those we know may not change... but, isn't that often far more dangerous?

Break a mirror
Roll the dice
Run with scissors
Through a chip pan fire fight
Go into business with a grizzly bear
But just don't sit down cause' I've moved your chair

Find a well known hardman
And start a fight
Wear your shell suit
On bonfire night
Filling a circular hole with a pen that's square
But just don't sit down cause' I've moved your chair

Ooh... Yeah yeah yeah
Ooh... Yeah yeah yeah

Bite the lightening
And tell me how it tastes
Kung fu fighting
On your rollerskates
Do the marcerena in the devils lair
But just don't sit down cause' I've moved your chair

Ooh... Yeah yeah yeah
Ooh... yeah yeah yeah
Ooh... yeah yeah yeah

Break a mirror
Roll the dice
Run with scissors
Through a chip pan fire fight
Go into business with a grizzly bear
But just don't I've moved your chair

Somethings may be pretty stupid... but then again, assuming that you can trust those around you could be even more so I guess.
