I've been pretty much hiding from the cold and subsequently from most of the world the past few days. Yup, as mentioned before I really don't like the cold.

Today's tune in keeping with a much more lighthearted tune for Friday's is "YMCA" by the Village People. This was the backing track to possibly the greatest shootout scene in any movie. Yup, you read that right! If you've seen One Night at McCool's then you'll understand, if not then watch it! Trust me, you'll understand.

I've heard that you can't have a party album without this song because that would be like making a cheesecake without the cheese. Ultimately my mother would define a good party as any party where someone throws up and at some point the Village People get played. Can't really argue with either of those.

Don't think anyone's ever really been in my (or anyone else's) shoes because well even under the same circumstance we're still all quite different. That said, there are always places we can go when we're feeling down... maybe even, the YMCA?
